About the artist
Angela Burdon’s fascination with the freedom of the spirit is seen in the flowing manes of her wild horses and the luminous beauty of her portraits. She explores her passion for nature and emotion with an adventurous mix of materials and mediums.
Formerly a Palliative Care Nurse, Angela combines the techniques she learnt from ateliers in Florence, Barcelona and Seattle with inspiration from such diverse sources as Sorolla and Sargent, to fuse her traditional training with a contemporary and life-affirming approach to art.
